We describe a novel technique to reinforce the scleral fixation of an intermittently dislocated lens (an IOLAB 107W scleral fixated 40 years ago). The lens was still attached at both haptics but showed significant phacodenesis. We present a novel technique where four 6-0 prolene “rivets” were used to reinforce the lens while maintaining its previous scleral fixation.
