A case of Keratoprostheis presented to us melting in two quadrants amidst the COVID times where there was acute shortage of corneal donor tissues. We adopted an innovative approach by harvesting the sclera from the non seeing contralateral eye to patch the melts and salvage the globe.This innovative technique can be very useful to salvage the eyes in shortage of donor corneas like the COVID times
