In a randomized, comparative study, cumulative dissipated energy (CDE) and ECL after femtosecond laser-assisted cataract surgery was compared with manual. The results suggested that surgical parameters surgical parameters such as technique, equipment, and accessories likely contributed to lower CDE that resulted in considerably lower ECL than previously reported levels in the literature.
