A patient who underwent LASIK surgery several months back was bitten in the lids by a dog. Her friend recovered the corneal flap from the patient lid margin and put it in a plastic bag. They rushed to an hospital and there the flap was put in saline solution and the patient was told that the flap needed reattachment. She contacted the original surgeon and the flap was successfully repositioned.
