SICS is one of the most underutilised surgical procedures today. While its considered a means to an end by most, SICS is instead a very forgiving and rewarding procedure, in complicated cataracts and gruelling technical scenarios. Here I present my experience as a young surgeon in tricky situations where SICS came to my rescue, helped provide an excellent outcome and receive abundant blessings.
