A 7-year-old patient who suffered a penetrating trauma with a mirror. The corneoscleral wound closure was guided with an anterior segment OCT microscope. Trans-surgical B-mode ultrasound was performed with no relevant findings. The AS-OCT was used to identify the type of wound and reduce the corneal steps diminishing the severity of corneal scarring.
