This video shows the difficulties when doing phaco in posterior microphthalmos cases and what to do and what not to do in these cases. In this case posterior microphthalmos associated with mature hard cataract, PEX with poor dilation of pupil , zonular dialysis , elevated IOP and very shallow anterior chamber.
